What Is Coca-Cola Roxy?

Coca-Cola Roxy is a concert and event venue in the Cumberland area near Atlanta, Georgia. It is operated by Live Nation and hosts live music performances and other entertainment events. According to Live Nation, the venue has a capacity of approximately 3,600 people, although the exact configuration can vary depending on the event.

The venue is designed to provide a more intimate concert atmosphere than a large stadium while still accommodating substantial audiences. Depending on the show, guests may experience a general-admission floor, reserved seating, or balcony seating. This flexible setup allows the venue to accommodate different performance formats and audience preferences.

Coca-Cola Roxy is also part of The Battery Atlanta, a mixed-use destination built around Truist Park. This location makes it convenient to combine a concert with dinner, drinks, or other entertainment in the surrounding district. For visitors coming from outside Atlanta, it can serve as a central stop on an evening out.

History of Coca-Cola Roxy and Its Connection to Atlanta

The modern Coca-Cola Roxy opened on April 8, 2017, bringing a new live-music destination to The Battery Atlanta. Its name pays tribute to the original Roxy Theatre in Atlanta’s Buckhead area, a former entertainment venue that closed in 2008. The newer venue was developed through a partnership involving the Atlanta Braves and Live Nation, with the goal of expanding entertainment options near the ballpark.

The original venue’s legacy remains part of the Roxy’s identity. The modern building combines contemporary concert facilities with references to the earlier theatre, connecting Atlanta’s music history with its newer entertainment district.

Since opening, Coca-Cola Roxy has become a venue for local and touring performers across multiple genres. Its position near major roads and the wider Atlanta area makes it accessible to concertgoers from different parts of Georgia, although traffic and parking can become busier during major events.
